Fifty Bucks Fancy – These are my personal favourites – Topshop (as ever) has a whole host of Fancy Pants  – love the floral print on these – Easy to wear a variety of colours with it. Dress up with heels or keep it low key for everyday wear. Great transeasonal & travel use too – can look great with an bright Arran knit & great ankle boots or simple silk singlet & sandals.

Fairly Fancy - These Urban Bamboo pants were $480 AUD approx and are on sale – love the print – and they are 100% silk ! Navy & they only have US size 6 left (about a size 12) – check them out on Opening Ceremony - Easy to wear with a simple T or vest (or crop top if you are so inclined ! – yeah right)

Fancy a Bargain ? – On Asos  there are lots of Fancy Pants – in Tapered, Peg Leg & Palazzo styles and varying prices. My favourite has to be these Silk crepe de chine trousers by Emma Cook, Mancunian designer who studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martins . They were $460 AUD approx now reduced to $183 AUD approx & available in UK 12 & 14 – this is a great style for anyone heavier on the bottom half as details are kept to a minimum. The flowy silk is great – no pockets, pleats and the length will be flattering if cropped trousers are a problem for you. Featuring a high waist with an elasticated stretch band, drawstring tie fastening to the front, twin pockets to the hip, an all over muted floral print and a tapered cut to the leg.

Effing Fancy – Vanessa Bruno Floral Silk Crepe Pants – available at Net a Porter for $550 US approx $525 AUD – love these – would look great just with white Tee & sandals or amp it up with a leather jacket & strong statement heels for evening.

The Palazzo Pant – wide legged – great for feeling cool in Summer without having to bare it all.

These are great value at Topshop but also check out other US & UK high street stores online as their end of Summer sales are on and there are brilliant Chic as Chips bargains like these ones at Dorothy Perkins or closer to home Down Under for $103 AUD  at The Grand Social by Minty meets Munti .

• Red or Cobalt blue are the easiest to wear & the most versatile.
• Team with nautical stripes or a block colour Tee if you are feeling like dipping into that trend.
• Other colours that are bang on are jewel tones – emerald green, bright amethyst.
