So I am not one of those fashion bloggers who does a weekly outfit post in the lovely late afternoon light.

Reality bites.

I just happen to write this blog in between my rotation of “day jobs” of Personal Stylist, Shopper, Brand Consultant, Film Creative, Agent & Producer and squeezing it all into the kindy/school day so I can do school pickups & extracurricular activities is always a bit of a challenge.

That is why most of my outfit posts are selfies taken on Instagram as I jump into the car – truly ..

When my lovely friend and amazing photographer Ruby and I decided to meet up for a quick coffee & shoot midweek we ended up spending all the time chatting and then with about 30 mins to go I say  –  “hey Rubes loving this pink leather skirt  from River Island – I have a few other things in the car – how about we do a “3 ways thing”  to show how bloomin’ gorgeous and versatile it is.. yeah – which of course turns into 5 ways … ?

Speed styling all the way.

I feel sorry for the poor tradies that might have caught a glimpse of me changing in my car.. “ouch” eyes burning…

And yes I am not a model ..it is a running joke with us  – I always look like someone stole my scone if I am not cracking up.

Let’s go …

On Wednesdays We Wear …

                                 Pink Leather 5 Ways

#1 Rockin the “Rizzo” vibe  – Leather Jacket, Leopard print & Metallic Heels

Worn with: Zara Black Leather Bomber jacket (from Opshop), Topshop Leopard Tshirt (last year), Peter Alexander Watermelon washbag used as clutch & Wittner Mirrored Metallic Topper Heels (last year now reduced). All jewellry heritage – antiques handed down from great grandparents and beyond.

Style Tips:
I would wear this look for work and then easily head out to meet the girls.  A leather jacket looks good thrown over anything – even joggers .. instant style plus these metallic heels look great with everything. The watermelon clutch is a bit of fun –  it was also a gift from a lovely friend Karen.

#2  Statement Sweatshirt & Heels

Worn with: Gorman metallic spot sweatshirt , Miista Tara Perspex Heel -sold out these are mine close up – here are their amazing current heels.

This is also an outfit I would wear with sneakers instead or flat points.

#3 Breton stripes & Slouchy Duster Coat

Worn With: Saint James Breton Mariniere – the best and last for ever, Vintage cobalt blue 80s oversized wool duster coat, Kmart Mirrored Sunnies.

Because I am such a dag I suggested Ruby got pics of me moving because I am not a great model. What a laugh we had in South Brisbane trying not to get run down..

Style Tips:
Mariner’s stripes are a staple and always a good idea with the leather they add a more casual vibe. Loving the coat which my gorgeous friend Maxine gave me – she will be happy to see it out in the world. Kmart Sunnies – happened to be the other pair in my car I have a Pot of Sunshine near the door with about 30 pairs of cheap sunnies then I keep my couple of pair of “good” glasses out of kid’s reach – I tell my clients cheap sunnies are a fun way to update your look.

#4 With Tuxedo jacket, Polka Dots & Clutch

Worn With: French Connection Tuxedo jacket (part of tux suit) bought in 1996 and still looking good, Dotti (yes i know) Polka Dot sheer(ish) shirt – bought couple of years ago, my Great Grandmother’s Black Leather  Silver Monogrammed Clutch, Equip Black Cheap Sunnies, Wittner metallic shoes (as above) – could be worn with any pencil skirt.

This is about as corporate business mainstream as my style goes  – but useful for meetings

Here it is – from River Island $180 (size 6-18)
I am wearing a size 8
Not into heels – I have flat pointed versions of every heel I love – (metallic, leopard) so I just pop them on or I sometimes wear my pencils skirts with little ankle boots or lace ups.
