So I was checking out where to do next month’s Speedstyle & Shop feature , keeping in mind the real model volunteer – and thought I would just do a quick 30 min recce of the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target range where I bumped into my gorgeous Mama.
Being a teen in the 80s I remember JPG in the heyday and who can forget that bodice he did for Madonna – I remember seeing that Blonde Ambition tour in Tokyo in the 90s and almost passing out !
I tried on as much of the range as I could in 30 mins – and here are my Top Picks of the #JPGTarget range across Womens, Mens & Kids that I would recommend you adding to your wardrobe.
At time of writing and posting my local Indooroopilly Shopping Centre was well stocked in all sizes.
1) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Jeans
Sizes 6- 20
Super cute and comfy on – not high waisted though – very stretchy but well cut.
I had to go down to a size 6. Scroll down to see.
Great length. I just had sneakers on but they could look great with a smaller heel than the JPGTarget shoes
Definitely v flattering would look great on curvy ladies.
2) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Stripe Sailor Top
sizes XS – XL
Iconic Gaultier – the colour way and the way the stripe drops on the shoulders – this is slightly boxy but that is the classic Marinière /Breton cut. Great fabric – perfect Closet Keeper.
Inimitable style. Perfect for transeasonal wear
3) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target – Stripe Knit
XS – XL
There is a reason this is unavailable online.
It looks super sexy on. I tried the XS.
Perfect for those that want a more body skimming look.
Track one down and snap it up. Super belle !
BUY NOW INSTORE (unavailable online)
4) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Biker Skirt
Nice coated denim – really great length – pair with the stripe long sleeve above and sneakers to tone down the biker zip thing. Or pair with a great black knit to amp it up.
5) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target (kids)
Age 2 – 14
I often tell my petite and clients with smaller busts, narrow or shorter torsos or slim hips to check out the kids/teens sections. We all know kids in 2016 are bigger than ever. My 8 yr old is almost able to wear my shoes! Love this and I am wearing a size 14 ( I am a size 8) and it was a bit big. Probably would fit up to a average size 10 busty.
This is a perfect staple for yourself or your kids.
My 8 yr old will look great in this.
Great knit quality and cute tattoo detail.
6) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target (kids) ls Tattoo print Shirt
Sizes 2 – 14
For Big kids like me !
This was the first piece I picked up instore and I am wearing a Size 12 so it would fit easily under the cardigan without too much material.
Would look great with black leather or dungarees.
Cotton fitted comfy and cute print.
A definite favourite here.
7) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target (kids) Stripe Cardigan
Online it says only up to size 7 but I tried on the size 14 (in pic above) – Love this.
Would look hot on someone bustier than me as a top with high waisted denim skirt or leather midi. Super cute statement for adult or kid.
Je l’adore !
8) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target – The Trench
sizes 6 – 16
Great quality – a trench this quality would definitely cost you closer to $250 – perfect length for that longline feel – easy to wear work, with jeans and beyond – this is a statement staple that add timeless Parisian chic to any outfit.
10) Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Mens Stripe Knit
Sizes S – 2XL
And finalement !
He is .. sorry this is hot – get your Man into this and add a wee je ne sais quoi to his weekend style.
Don’t forget to check out the homewares – they looked super chic !
BONNE CHANCE !!
Also I came home with something.
Can you guess which piece ?
