5 Easy Pieces : What to Wear to Pilates & Beyond

Fancy tights is a big trend for the gym but if like me you love a retro vibe then the ultra cool luxe activewear brand P.E. Nation might be one to check out if you don’t already know about this newish line. The brainchild of cool stylist Mama, General Pants Design Director Pip Edwards whom I remember from my Bondi days as part of power couple with Dan Single from Tsubi (as it was known then) Anyway – she has created something pretty special and I love these leggings in particular – blame the fact that they kind of  remind me of my Killy racing ski pants from the 80s that I adored..

P.E. Nation is also available at David Jones, General Pants   and on their dedicated site – find lots of pieces on sale at P.E Nation here .

Another great street brand that I adore and own quite a few pieces from is Etre Cécile, by a group of Aussie expats including Yasmin Sewell. They have an aesthetic that is playful, chic, youthful and cool  and their play with French is always fun.

Voilà – if you don’t know means  – ta-da ! – or there you are !- or there it is !

I may wear a plain black tank but I usually layer something more interesting on top – this T-shirt can work in any part of your wardrobe – depending on how you style it – for the gym and lofi days – add leather skirt and boots and a jacket for work or play.

Etre Cécile is available widely – just google it and there are heaps of great sales on their previous seasons.

With a cool bomber look to it  and the beloved  thumb holes – such a big active trend (Lululemon are all over this) (remind me of what I did to my woolly jumpers in high school much to my Mother’s consternation)

Scuba wet look material – works well as another layer and looks like a fitted bomber. I have had a lot of compliments and requests on where I got it so thought I would share the store.

Now $52.26 (on sale)

These are not trainers for high intensity work outs but if you are heading to pilates – or yoga  these look great and would easily work into your everyday wardrobe with stylish ease.

Make a statement !

Mollini – Rollie

Love everything Bando do – so fun – and this heart bag is sure to spread a little love wherever you go.
So roomy so can work as well for the gym as a weekend away – lucky duck !
