I have a confession
I am a sparkleholic…
and I love it.
I turned 46 at the weekend and although no Gucci loafers are coming this way in a long while (brownie camps, ballet, basketball and family holidays are prioritised) these are making me all shiny and happy.
And being Granny shoes they have that perfect golf shoe fringing and low block heel that I adore.
Plus – the savvy shopper in me loves this bit
They were on sale
styled with: DIY fringed APC jeans, Ms 6 DIY Gucci Schmucci T-shirt , DIY frayed denim choker/ruff, thrifted bomber jacket , Grandmother’s gold quilted leather cross body ba, giant gold pearl hoops, hair by @EllieMayHair.
Since I posted them on IG on my insta stories …obvs being such an influencer haha :) there are now only small teeny tiny sizes left – if you have munchkin feet …..quickstix
I wore them to Logan preview on Friday night which is out on March 2 in cinemas across Australia.
The Man is a big X Men, Wolverine, Marvel fan and he said it is the best of the whole lot for him… that is a big call and compliment I reckon.
He thought they tied up the story of Wolverine better than he could have imagined.
I loved the story a lot and Patrick Stewart, Stephen Merchant and Richard E Grant were standouts for me – acting was top notch.
The only issue I had (and that is because I am a scaredy cat .. ) … was it was a bit gory and Edward Scissorhands gone a bit awol for me.
The Man said .. that is what Wolverine does babe.. yeah thanks – so I did spend a bit of the movie either cuddled into his chest or looking through my fingers a bit. He has a nice chest :)
That said when I mentioned this to my teenage nephews at the weekend – they were immediately sold.. great for date nights.. cute :)
Thanks Nicola at 20th Century Fox
