This week I was invited to come & celebrate Uniqlo’s 1 yr anniversary in Brisbane.

I know Uniqlo well from my years in Japan in the 90s and before they came to Australia I used to stock up on cashmere on overseas trips.

I am often in my local at Indooroopilly  or in the CBD branch with Personal Shopping clients – they are particular good for petite ladies and those who want to bring a bit of colour, loft luxe cool and a twist to their sharp tailored look.

Brisbane has changed a lot since we got here in 2010 including the great transformation and regeneration of Queen Street Mall which allows an easy day of shopping from quality middle range favourites like Uniqlo, Zara, French Connection, TopShop, Seed and H & M to Chanel, David Jones and Gucci all within sparkly stone’s throw of each other.

To celebrate Uniqlo’s staff have created a cool Staff Picks wall in the Queen St Mall branch to highlight the best of Brisbane and Uniqlo have collaborated with Noosa Long Boards, GoMA and Nook .

What I’m Wearing: River Island Troublemaker Jacket, Sportsgirl linen striped tank,  DIY cropped frayed thrifted Massimo Dutti jeans, fishnet socks & Miu Miu red patent slingback.

Uniqlo’s philosophy is very much Local is Global – so Check out the cool birthday celebration events throughout March, April and May !

On departure I was treated to an individualised party bag like no other – leaving with 3 gifts of our choice.

I chose three pieces from the legendary model,  former Chanel muse and all round timelessly stylish femme Inés de la Fressange
collaboration with Uniqlo.

Check it out  if you love Parisian chic.

Excited to style the pieces my way … stay tuned.
