So blooming excited about this exhibition that tracks the highlights of a 100 years of fashion photography I went to the launch party on Friday 24 Nov of Coming into Fashion: A Century of Photography at Condé Nast at the Gold Coast Arts Centre – no mean feat on a Friday from Brisbane but I could not miss this celebration to kick off this spectacular event in Queensland.
And it did not disappoint. I was a bit teary about the significance of this landmark exhibition and the incredible talent behind and in front of the camera in it.
Also the extraordinary Darnell Collection of Vintage clothes on display is a great inclusion.
Congratulations to all involved in getting it to Queensland. Fantastic achievement.
