Throughout 2018 I continued to work deeply with client SunSoaked as Brand Strategist, Business Development and Creative Direction consultant.

After presenting to Sunburn in 2017 – the brand was trialled in 9 stores. Due to SunSoaked becoming their best sellers, at the 2018 buyer showings, Sunburn took up the new SunSoaked Bella (6-14yrs capsule range) as well as rolling out the brand nationally across all stores in Australia.

The brand’s 2018/19 key message is all about Bringing Back the Joy, that carefree, joyful feeling before social media, comparison and the need for a “beach body” – so our creative campaign video by Chelsea from Tiny Disco was all about the 70s retro disco vibes – think 2019 sunsafe Charlie’s Angels. Customer’s feedback continued to roll in highlighting what we already know – there may be myriads of brands jumping on the one piece trend and trying to duplicate the SunSoaked signature ruffle sleeve and long sleeve one pieces but they are not coming close in terms of cut, quality and fit.

Feel the SunSoaked difference – not only is the brand made highest grade UPF 50+ luxe Italian performance lycra, or the fit that is done on everyday women not models but the fabric and how the sunsafe swimmers make the wearer feel – joyful and ready to get out from the sidelines and make some memories with their families.

Our successful social media campaign #SunSoakedSisterhood evolved into the #SunSoakedGenerations and we chose 3 women and their sisterhoods representing our core values – body confidence, beauty diversity, ageless style and sunsafechic.

We also created an everyday girls campaign for the girls range SunSoaked Bella, promoting diversity for young girls.

Our annual flash runway with everyday women rocking the runway spontaneously in honour of @dear_melanoma and our partners The Melanoma Institute of Australia was an incredible success opening with the Hustle and women and girls aged 6 -76 yr spreading our self love, joy and sunsafety messages.
